On Monday, April 20, 2015, at the Fremont Campus, STEP Up Ohlone and the Human Resources Department, in partnership with Crisis Support Services of Alameda County, sponsored a training for faculty and staff on early identification and referral of students at risk for suicide with three learning objectives:
- Gain basic knowledge of immediate suicide warning signs & risk factors among college students.
- Increase comfort in asking about suicide directly.
